Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using eUFO ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of eUFO, whether using the free version or a paid license. Using the App constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
About the Software
eUFO is a macOS desktop application designed to improve productivity and wellbeing. It combines a Pomodoro timer, task manager, Gantt project charts, health reminders, breathing exercises, personal finance tracker, notes, and exercise library — all in a single native macOS app.
eUFO is an independent project created by a solo developer. It is not affiliated with any corporation or commercial entity. The App is provided "as is" — crafted with care, but without the resources of a large team.
License Grant
Upon download, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use eUFO on your Mac(s). This license is for personal use only.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App to third parties
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App for illegal or harmful activities
- Claim ownership or authorship of the App
The App and all its content remain the intellectual property of the developer. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Free Version vs Full License
eUFO offers two tiers:
- Free Forever: Full access to all core features including Pomodoro timer, task manager, calendar, health reminders, exercise library, finance tracker, notes, and 6-language support. No time limit, no credit card required.
- Full License (one-time): Unlocks data export and import across all sections — Pomodoro history, tasks (CSV/JSON), projects, finances, and exercise library. Also includes lifetime updates and priority support.
Payments & Refund Policy
The Full License is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges. Once purchased, the license is valid for the current and all future versions of eUFO.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your purchase date for a full refund, no questions asked.
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days
- To request a refund, contact us via email with your purchase confirmation
- After 14 days, purchases are considered final
Donations
eUFO accepts voluntary donations to support ongoing development. Donations are entirely optional and do not grant any additional features or rights beyond what is described in the Free or Full License tiers.
All donations are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. By donating, you acknowledge that you are making a voluntary contribution to support an independent developer, not purchasing a service or product.
Donors who contribute may receive recognition in the app's community or changelog at the developer's discretion, but this is not guaranteed.
Your Data & Privacy
eUFO is built with a privacy-first philosophy. All data you create within the App — tasks, finances, Pomodoro history, notes, exercises — is stored exclusively on your Mac. No data is sent to external servers.
eUFO does not:
- Collect personal information
- Send your data to any cloud service
- Track your usage behavior or habits
- Share data with third parties
- Display advertisements
Updates & Future Versions
Full License holders receive all future updates to eUFO free of charge, including major version upgrades. The developer strives to maintain backward compatibility and protect your data across updates.
The developer reserves the right to add, modify, or remove features in any update. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or the project's community channels.
Free users may continue using the version they have at any time, but may not receive the latest updates unless the update policy changes.
Limitation of Liability
eUFO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The developer makes no guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any specific purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data or files resulting from use of the App
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Interruption of service or unavailability of the App
- Damages arising from reliance on health or productivity suggestions within the App
Changes to These Terms
The developer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree with updated terms, you may stop using the App and request a refund if within the 14-day guarantee window.
